Dr. Gary Enfinger
My family and I moved to North Alabama in 2004 to be near my wife’s parents who resided in Huntsville and were in poor health at the time. My wife, Becky is a native of Huntsville. I was born in Dothan, Al. graduated from high school in Prattville, Al. I served the Thomasville Baptist Church in southwest Alabama as Senior Pastor for 22 years. So I am Alabama bred and Alabama raised, having spent different chapters of my life in south, central and north Alabama.
Associate Pastor of Worship Ministries
I am a native of Alabama having lived here all my life. I graduated from Hartselle High School in 1980 and attended the University of Mobile in Mobile Alabama. I have spent the past 30 plus years in full time ministry serving several churches in Alabama.
Associate pastor of administration and youth
I have lived in the Tanner community my whole life, and I attended Tanner High School from kindergarten through the twelfth grade before graduating in 2011. For six years I attended Round Island Baptist Church in the Reid community where I was very active in the youth group, and at the age of fourteen in October of 2007, I gave my life Christ on a Wednesday night youth service, and I’ve never been the same. I continued learn so much about God’s love and what it means to be a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ.
Associate pastor of education and discipleship
I am a proud father of two amazing children and husband to my wonderful bride Candace of 14 years. We enjoy spending time together, teaching our children (Cooper and Lottie) about our Savior. There is no greater joy than teaching your children about Jesus and seeing them adhere to His Word.
Minister to families and missions
My wife, Amy, and I are natives of North Georgia. We have been married for almost 20 years. Amy serves on staff at Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (LLCA) as the Elementary Principal. God used the Army to move my family to the Athens area in 2009.
